I am a Research Engineer by profession with research and teaching experience from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and an undergraduate civil engineering degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), both of which are ranked top 5 globally in their respective fields. Professional experience is rooted in education, with approximately 4 years of teaching experience including college-level instruction, high school teaching, one-on-one tutoring, and teaching assistance in math and science-based subjects. Previous tutoring experience with Varsity Tutors, including designing SAT/ACT exam questions, and at both universities (UIUC and NUS) at a tertiary level.
