I have a Masters of Fine Arts in Writing from Hunter College (part of the City University of New York). I have a Bachelors in English and Creative writing from Binghamton University, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and received numerous undergraduate scholarship awards. I also have a TESOL Certification (120 hours).
Experience
I have almost a decade of college level teaching at places like the University of Notre Dame and Indiana University. I also have about a decade of experience with one-on-one tutoring. As a teacher, I have been nominated for several awards. As a writer, I have published a book of poetry and numerous articles both in print and online. I have experience with test prep for GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS--not to mention helping my wife prepare for her PhD Comprehensives! I am a working writer with a passion for teaching and helping others build confidence in their intelligence and expressive abilities.
