***I charge $35/hr. This includes access to my online chat server via an app called Discord. (Your child may already be familiar!) It's free, and it allows you/your child to interact with other students, ask me quick questions, and send me their assignments. In order to maintain server access, you must consistently book time with me, either in person or via Discord. Please note that use of the app is not required in order to work with me. I was also a teaching assistant for my biotech/biology teacher.
Experience
I have an intense passion for molecular biology. It's a convoluted subject that many shy away from, and I love inspiring students to discover more about the building blocks of life. More broadly, I feel I'm adept at sparking students' interest in these subjects, as well as accommodating diverse learning styles. TUTORING EXPERIENCE: I've tutored all levels of Spanish language for the past 6 years. I've been tutoring bio, especially AP, for the last 3 years.
